DESIGN PHILOSOPHY デザイン理念

設計は、線を引く前から
始まっている。

私たちは、「見せるもの」と「隠すもの」を
整理し、
余計なものが見えない状態をつくる
ことで、建築を整えています。
設計とは、
与えられた条件に答えることではなく、
本当に求められている価値をかたちにすることだと考えています。
そのために、企画段階から対話を重ね、
言葉の奥にある意図に向き合います。
そうして導き出された答えが、時間に耐え景色の一部として
馴染んでいくこと。それが、私たちの
考えるデザインです。

We bring architecture into order by carefully discerning what should be revealed and what should remain unseen, creating spaces where unnecessary elements quietly recede from view. We believe that design is not simply about responding to given conditions, but about giving form to the values that are truly being sought.
To achieve this, we engage in continuous dialogue from the earliest stages of planning, listening closely to the intentions that lie beneath the words.
The answers we arrive at through this process are designs that endure over time and settle naturally into the surrounding landscape. This is what design means to us.
